Maintenance Clerk

Job Description
The clerk will be responsible for all MRO inventory. Will work to ensure best pricing, proper inventory levels and make inventory recommendations to management. This person will learn all aspects of the Maintenance Computer maintenance management system to include preventive maintenance (pm) planning and kitting.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
  • Meets the expectations and standards set forth by TS16949 and ISO14001.
  • Maintains records and cost avoidance sheets.
  • Tracks usage of products and equipment to ensure products are used correctly.
  • Conducts inventory daily to ensure all products are stocked to the minimum requirement.
  • Orders replacement parts and equipment as needed.
  • Assists in finding products and placing orders.
  • Negotiates with vendors to achieve cost reductions.
  • Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
  • Generates PM work orders and kits required parts
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience : One to two years related experience preferred
Computer Skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required. IQMS experience preferred
Certificates & Licenses
Must acquire Forklift / Scissor Lift certification and licenses.
Other Requirements
Ability to read blue prints of electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.
