Homeland, Inc. is a well-established property management company with over 5,000 rental units and growing each year. We are located in four states with emphasis on low-income housing. We manage properties funded by HUD, RD, LIHTC, HOME, Risk Sharing and other programs and are responsible for ensuring that each property remains in compliance with regulations pertaining to the programs involved. Our corporate office is located in Leitchfield, KY. This is a new position created due to new growth.
The compliance analyst is responsible for reviewing all move-in applications for the properties the analyst is assigned in order to verify that the applicants are eligible to reside in the that property. This involves calculating income, verifying all documents are in compliance, and making sure applicant meets all requirements set aside for each project. The analyst position also involves reviewing annual and interim re-certifications for those properties to assure property continues to meet compliance regulations. This position is located in the corporate office in Leitchfield, KY.
Ensure compliance with income limits and maximum allowable rents imposed by funding sources and regulatory agreements.
Review and approve all move-ins and annual income re-certifications as mandated by various programs such as HUD, LIHTC, HOME, RD, etc..
Communicate with property manager for any issues that need to be corrected in order to maintain compliance.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate professionally and accurately.
Ability to multi-task and work independently.
Detail oriented and highly organized and able to meet deadlines and prioritize work flow.
Able to use technology and software including intermediate level or higher Excel and Word.
General math skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Commitment to continuous learning to maintain up-to-date knowledge of rules and regulations.
Previous low-income housing work experience a plus.
