The Alliance is a charitable, tax exempt, organization formed in July 2000 to help Grayson County residents with limited resources. We are a partnership of community agencies and concerned citizens. The Alliance provides a variety of programs which address unmet needs. Friendly, courteous service is provided while maintaining the personal dignity of and respect for those served. New programs will be adopted as needed and services expanded as volunteers and donations permit. Our mission is to feed, teach, and empower families. Annually GCA conducts 3 fundraisers: Empty Bowls (February), Art in the Park (May), and Ducking Hunger Regatta (September).
