Wear Pink to Promote Breast Cancer Awareness!
Event Description:
FREE 5K Fun Run/Walk to be held on Monday, October 10th at 6:00 PM at Snap Fitness Leitchfield! Help us promote Breast Cancer Awareness and join us in a casual 5K fun run or walk. All ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged to participate. We will be partnering with the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center to collect books (adult coloring books, children's coloring books, puzzle books, novels, etc.) for those who are undergoing oncology. We will have a "Personalization Station" to allow participants to write a personal message of encouragement on this inside of their donated books. Every book you donate during our Think Pink event will earn you a raffle ticket for our awesome prize raffle. More donations equal more tickets which equal more chances to win! All donated books will be given to the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center for their oncology patients. No pre-registration for the event is required. Participants may begin picking up their race bibs and turning in donations for tickets at 5:00 PM. Prizes will be distributed through a random drawing of names from the tickets collected through donations.
