Before the summer boat traffic hits the Nolin River Lake, enjoy the serenity of the lake and take a scenic trip by canoe, kayak, or paddleboard. We will depart from the Wax boat dock area, paddle close to the Barton Run palisades, then go around the peninsula in to the Barton Run area, around a small island and back to our originating point. This will be a beautiful trip for novice or advanced paddlers. The trip is about 3.5 miles long. Join in the fun! Make your reservations early.
Nolin Lake Lodge will have their restaurant open where you can buy pizza or other delicious lunch dishes. We will also have the Wax picnic shelter reserved for our paddlers to use. Feel free to bring your own coolers for either before or after the paddle. There are grills and picnic tables available at the shelter for you to use.
Reservations must be made by May 9th.
Life jackets are required for this paddle!
Canoe and kayak rentals will have life jackets included in the rental fee.
